Jack Murray, Esq. is one of the newest additions to Long & Jean, P.A., where he represents clients in a wide range of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, rideshare incidents, and boating accidents. Jack’s commitment to personal injury law began in 2018 while interning with the firm, where he developed a passion for advocating on behalf of injured individuals and their families.
Throughout his education and early career, Jack was mentored by firm partners Alex Jean and Lyle Long, who helped shape his development as a lawyer and instilled in him a client‑focused, results‑driven approach to practice.
Jack earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University, where he was recognized for academic excellence. During his time at FAU, he served on the student conduct board, adjudicating student matters, and played a key role in developing pre-law advising services for undergraduate students pursuing legal careers. His leadership and competitive drive were further demonstrated through Pi Kappa Phi, where he served as chair of his fraternity’s intramural sports program.
Jack went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in 2023. Before joining Long & Jean, P.A. as an associate plaintiffs’ attorney, he practiced in the areas of insurance defense and construction law, where he developed and refined his litigation skills by handling complex, high‑exposure cases from pre‑suit investigation through discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. That experience gives him a valuable perspective on how insurers and corporate defendants evaluate and defend claims, which he now uses to the advantage of his injured clients.
Originally from Ohio, Jack is a devoted Bengals fan and an avid supporter of the Miami Heat. Today, he is dedicated to zealously representing his clients and guiding them through the legal process with diligence and care. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and is an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
