Partner
Lyle R. Long is a founding partner of Long & Jean P.A., and a dynamic force in the Florida legal community. Over his years of courtroom experience, Mr. Long has earned a reputation as a fearless litigator who is unafraid to take cases to verdict when insurance companies offer anything less than a fair settlement.
Beyond his practice, Mr. Long is dedicated to shaping the next generation of legal professionals. He is an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University, where he teaches personal injury law in the paralegal program.
Alex Jean, Esq.
Partner
As a Fort Lauderdale native and a graduate of Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, Alex Jean gives our firm a deep connection to South Florida. He speaks Creole, bridging communication gaps and serving a diverse range of clients who might otherwise be underrepresented in the legal system.
Outside the office, Mr. Jean’s commitment to service continues through his role on the Board of Directors of Champions Empowering Champions, a nonprofit supporting students from foster care backgrounds.
Len Blumenthal, Esq.

Len Blumenthal serves as Of Counsel to the firm. Mr. Blumenthal brings more than two decades of diverse litigation experience to our team. His extensive background spans both state and federal courts, where he has handled a wide variety of cases, from insurance disputes to complex commercial litigation and appellate work.
Mr. Blumenthal is particularly motivated to protect the most vulnerable members of society. He serves as one of the firm’s primary nursing home abuse lawyers, fighting for the dignity and rights of the elderly.
